In recent years, the Indian government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken significant steps to strengthen our country's defence capabilities. One of the key areas of focus has been addressing the issue of Army ammunition. Here are the 4 steps taken by the Modi government to ensure our army is well-equipped and prepared for any situation.

1. Modernizing and upgrading existing facilities: The Modi government has allocated a significant amount of funds towards modernizing and upgrading our Army's ammunition depots and storage facilities. This includes the installation of advanced technology and equipment to ensure safe and secure storage of ammunition. 2. Procuring new and advanced weapons: The government has also expedited the process of procuring new and advanced weapons for the Army, including rifles, missiles, and other ammunition. This not only helps in modernizing our defence forces but also ensures that our soldiers have access to the latest and most effective weaponry. 3. Increasing production of indigenous ammunition: In line with the government's 'Make in India' initiative, efforts have been made to increase the production of indigenous ammunition. This not only reduces our dependence on imports but also boosts the country's economy. 4. Strengthening border infrastructure: The Modi government has also focused on strengthening the border infrastructure to ensure smooth movement of ammunition and supplies for the Army. This includes the construction of roads, bridges, and other necessary infrastructure along the borders.
